Collection update
As a kid who grew up in southwest Missouri in the pre-internet early 90's, I didn't always find out about things the same way everyone else did, so I first heard Glenn Danzig when I saw the live video for "Mother" on Headbangers Ball. On the next trip to Kansas City, on a regular trip to 7th Heaven, I bought the first Danzig record, five years after it was released because of that version from Thrall-Demonsweatlive, and a well-meaning clerk directed me to the Misfits, just like seeing Rollins Band on 120 Minutes had led me to Black Flag at the same store just a year before. Finding music in reverse in a weird way felt pure. It didn't matter when and how I found something because the excitement felt the same. I kind of miss the joy of finding things in a pre-internet world.
