Empire State Games began roughly in late 1996, and broke up in November of 1998. During their two year stint they released three 7"s - the 'white' 7" (Old Skool), the yellow 7" (Makoto), and a split 7" with King For A Day (Old Skool), as well as a CDep...Empire State Games began roughly in late 1996, and broke up in November of 1998. From word of mouth, and the strength of their releases and live show, ESG quickly became a force in the independent music scene. Just as they were ready to take the band to new levels, they called it quits.
