The idea for the band was hatched when guitarist Colin McGinniss got together with drummer John Everymann, and formed a posicore outfit known as PIPEWRENCH. The pair added bassist BK to the line-up and kicked around in the underground for several years with this moniker before finally settling into a harder sound and the youth crew-oriented name. With a like-minded group in tact (thanks to the immaculate vocals of Mr. Olsen), G!FTT began playing out live; spreading its gospel.
