EGOTRIP was the solo-project of the linz/autria-based andré zogholy since 1996. starting as guitarist, bassist, keyboarder and vocalist in mainly punkrock-bands at the beginning of the 1990s, he entered the world of homerecording with a small 4track tascam in the middle of the 90s. in 2003 it was about time for his first "electronic" release on INTERSTELLAR, his first and also our first of this kind.
besides EGOTRIP andré zogholy was also member of the - now defunct - noise-rock-impro-collective WCH-BAND (www.firstfloor.org/wch), sporadically does some DJing and is involved in qujochoe (www.qujochoe.org, a collective/association supporting art/culture in the experimental fields), kupf (www.kupf.at, upper austrian platform for culture) and always up for collaborations in the fields of free improvisation.
he's going to continue his solo works as ANDRE ZOGHOLY from now on, his activities as EGOTRIP are cancelled.
