@Paparenn They seemed lesser known until the digital age made bands like them easier to discover. That, and the cult favorite status that just takes time to ripen.
When my friend and I discovered them before their first tour, we mailed them a packet of our poetry zines to thank them for making such amazing music, which inspired Alan to make a zine of his own called "This town needs a..." We made it a point to chat with them after every show they played in the Denver area for many years. Genuinely great and kind people! We were so sad to hear of Mimi's passing.
