Cosmogramma hits different as an after-hours listen — it’s like jazz, electronic, and cosmic abstraction all collapsing into each other at once. FlyLo was operating on another plane with that one. Thom Yorke also makes an appearance which feels completely inevitable, like of course he’s here. Very on-brand for him to show up on the weirdest, most beautiful record of 2010 and just fit in perfectly.
The production density is insane too — stuff keeps revealing itself on repeat listens. It’s one of those records where headphones feel mandatory. Limited edition black & white marbled audiophile -grade edition makes it all come together.
