Texis is such a blast. Savage, really. Sleigh Bells kind of rediscovered their own formula on this one and just leaned all the way in. The guitar/noise/pop ratio feels perfectly calibrated — aggressive but weirdly fun, not abrasive for its own sake.

“Knowing When to Stop” and “Locust Laced” hit like freight trains, and then they’ll just drop something almost breezy next to it. Alexis Krauss sounds fantastic throughout too — she’s always been the secret weapon that keeps the whole thing from feeling like a gimmick.
