Theme: A Great Live Album
Today's pick: Live in Brooklyn 2011 by Sonic Youth

I don't own many live albums on vinyl. Most of my live recordings are on CD or digital, but out of the handful I do have, this one was an easy choice. It's a truly special performance, featuring a unique and expansive set of Sonic Youth songs that hadn't been played live in years, and in some cases, decades.

The show has since become known as "The Last Show" among fans and the band alike. While a few shows followed, this remains the band's de facto final performance.
