My friend Brett invited me to the Ginger Root collective show at Mississippi Studios in Portland, OR for his birthday in 2022. Vicky Farewell was the headliner and she put on a great show, which included a cover of Sylvia's "Pillow Talk". I scooped this up after the show and got to meet her. She was wonderful and I hope we're able to catch her again next time she's in town.
