Hey, it's AL. Record collector and seller. Selling at Record Fairs, Shows, Online, and at an Antiques mall. I collect mostly Punk/HC, Indie, Hip Hop, Power Pop, Soul/R&B, and New Wave.
Day 1: David Bowie "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars." "Five Years" is rhe perfect opening track to set the tone for this album.
Desmond Dekker & The Aces! A Goodwill score from this morning! The selection is usually pretty terrible, but I hit it exactly right today and came home with 75 killer LPs! That hasn't happened to me in a few years.
Day 19: Barnabas "Hear the Light." I picked this up thinking it was going to be an amazing New Wave Power Pop record. I mean, look at the cover...How could it not be? Nope. Christian Metal 😆
Day 18: No technically a dollar bin find, but it was in a box of records that I got at a local auction. It ended up being a lot less than a dollar. Great US punky power pop from '81
Day 11: Conflict (US) "Last Hour." HC Punk from Arizona 1983. I bought this at Amoeba in SF when my old band was on tour out there a few years ago. A killer record!
Day 9: Turin Brakes "Ether Song." While the cover is showing beautiful weather, this is rainy day music for me. They never got the attention they deserve here in the States.
Day 6: Digital Underground "Sex Packets." This is a great album, but I probably wouldn't have bought this reissue if it wasn't for the amazing pop-up packaging.
